Business Systems Analyst & Solution Architect

I work at the intersection of business and technology — translating real-world problems into practical systems, clear requirements, and solutions people can actually use.

What I Do

I translate business needs into systems developers can build and users can trust.

My work sits between business teams, technical teams, leadership, and end users. I help teams understand what they need, document how work gets done today, identify what is broken or inefficient, and turn that into a clear path forward.

Core Strength

Communication

A good system only works when the right people understand the right information at the right time. I take pride in creating that alignment.

Available For

Freelance & Consulting Work

Custom internal tools, web portals, reporting cleanup, workflow improvement, and practical system implementation.

Where I Help Most

When a process gets messy, I help make it usable again.

I help when a business process has outgrown spreadsheets, email chains, paper forms, manual reconciliation, or tribal knowledge.

01Discovery & Requirements

Clarify what users need and what developers need to build.

02Workflow Mapping

Document the actual process, not just the process people think exists.

03Gap Analysis

Find the friction between today’s reality and tomorrow’s solution.

04Implementation Support

Bridge planning, testing, rollout, and adoption.

Featured Work

A portfolio built from real business problems.

A quick look at systems, tools, modernization efforts, and operational solutions I have helped shape.

Custom Web Application

Biscuit Builder

A vendor, cost, and startup planning portal for restaurant development work.

Problem
Startup and recurring cost details were scattered across people, spreadsheets, and vendor conversations.
Role
Designed the application structure, workflows, data model, and user experience for operational users.
Outcome
Created a practical portal to centralize vendors, costs, documents, and planning details.

Sports Data

Pitch-IQ

A pitch data analysis concept built to help make baseball performance data easier to review.

Problem
Raw CSV exports were difficult to interpret quickly without dedicated tools or direct platform access.
Role
Designed a workflow to import, analyze, summarize, and present pitch-level data.
Outcome
Created a foundation for fast review, reporting, and better visibility into umpire and pitch data.

Enterprise Modernization

Oracle Forms Modernization

A legacy workflow modernization effort moving business-critical processes into modern application stacks.

Problem
Older forms and workflows needed to be documented, understood, and rebuilt in modern technology.
Role
Mapped workflows, gathered requirements, supported specification-driven development, and used AI-assisted prototyping to speed feedback.
Outcome
Improved clarity, accelerated stakeholder review, and supported a more maintainable technology direction.

Personal Foundation

Driven by family, shaped by discipline, and motivated by helping people.

Away from work, the titles I’m proudest of are husband and dad. My wife Ashley is the heart of everything we’ve built together — patient, selfless, and steady, she makes our family work and makes me better at everything I do. Together we’re raising four wonderful kids who fill our home with energy, laughter, and constant reminders of what really matters. My parents helped shape my work ethic, discipline, and will to succeed, and growing up in a military household taught me the value of preparation, accountability, and showing up for the people who count on you.
